Its unfortunate that Peter MacKay chose to call for an apology from this clown Greg Gutfeld and his disparaging remarks about the Canadian military on his Fox News Red Eye show.
First of all his remarks are disgusting and disrepectful and come at the expense of the very men and their predecessors in other wars, that died to give these knuckleheads the right to their opinions. That alone is ironic isn't it.
Secondly, too much attention has been given to Gutfeld and his questionable panel.
Remember these people are airing their show at 3am. In television lingo thats about as far from prime time as it gets. A time slot generally reserved for beginning announcers who can make mistakes without too many people listening. A perfect slot for Gutfeld.
At the same time as you have the Gutfeld garbage, you have to wonder about the President of the United States who seems to be trying to become sort of popular personality rather than a leader of state.
Recently on the Jay Leno show the President made a remark about the Special Olympics that apparently only he was amused by and then on 60 minutes his laughter about serious economic matters prompted the host to ask him - " You're laughing about serious matters, are you punch drunk ? Sometimes in an effort to be cool you cross the line and become the fool. And by the way, the best censorship is built right into every television set. Its called the on/off button.
