
Watched on the National news last night, Liberal Leader Michael Ignatieff's comments on Stephen Harper's positive speech. Both the Liberal Leader and of course the NDP leader Jack Layton had critism of Harper's positive attitude.
Well it could be theres a little denial going on but give me that rather than the usual "the sky is falling" from the other parties.
Matter of fact its interesting how positive or negative comments can affect the stock market. A couple of Mondays ago, an American business leader (banking I believe) spoke on how the American recession might not be as bad as originally forecast. The result - the markets surged upwards. The next day, another business leader commented, saying the first man had erred etc. The result - the markets spiralled downwards wiping out the gains of the day before. So Mr Ignatieff, lets try a little positive attitude. Can it really hurt
