MacLeans Magazine selected Saskatoon and Regina as the two most dangerous and crime ridden cities in Canada. This brought cries of indignation from the Mayors of the two cities. Not with standing the occassional broad daylight machete and sword attack, numerous everyday stabbings and throw in a nightly convenience store robbery, the Mayors claim their cities are as safe as they come.
Well not to debate that at this time, but MacLeans Magazine missed some other thefts that occur legally in the two cities. It happens everyday, at the pumps, where like puppets on a string, gas stations raise their prices and the poor consumer is robbed again. Gas prices in Saskatoon now range anywhere from 1.04.9 per litre up to

Today the government proudly annouced legislation to protect credit card holders.
Of course not from high interest rates because the Finance Minister would never be that courageous.
Heres a message Mr. Flaherty. I don't need you to protect me from credit card companies. I need you to lower gas prices. I don't need to use a credit card and if I decide to, well the interest rates, the charges and whatever else you think you are protecting me from are my problem. I do use my car everyday though. I need it to get to work. I need it on the job and Mr. Flaherty it requires gasoline.
Isn't it about time your government protected us from the hosers at the pump?
