I got the little sucker didn't I" - President Obama after launching a quick air strike against a pesky fly while being interviewed on
television.
A move that has left a couple of groups outraged and calling for a public apology.
PETOF - People for the Ethical Treatment of Flies says the President's strike takes us back to the George Bush era and calls the killing of an innocent fly as barbaric and outrageous.
The spokesman points to a lab report done several years ago which credited flies with having brains shown by the ability to
avoid and maneuver around danger. (Not sure what happened in this flies case.
PETOF is demanding an immediate apology from the President and as well calls the news media frequent showing of the innocent fly as equally barbaric with networks catering to the blood thirsty needs of their viewers.
Says the spokesman "it seems CSI Miami is not enough, now people have to see innocent animals killed live on television by the most powerful man in the world" Barbaric indeed.
In Canada, there has been little response although Buzz Hargrove did issue a terse "no comment"
