It has been a confusing week on Parliament Hill. Micheal Ignatieff started it off with his yes I will bring down the government, no I won't, well maybe I might and ended if off by forming a coalition with Stephen Harper to keep the Conservatives in power. That left Jack Layton and Gilles Duceppe confused along with many Canadians wondering who is the Prime Minister of Canada these days. Not reported by the media was a decision in the meetings to go back somewhat in British history and have the Prime Minister wear a crown. Because he holds all the cards it was decided that Michael will start off as PM and then it will change weekly until the Liberals get annoyed and bring down the government. Insiders say you can expect that to happen sometime in September.
Meanwhile Jack and Gilles after being left out on the hill and not made part of the
Liberal Conservative coalition have joined with the Green Party to form a coalition of their own. A name for this group will be chosen later.
